I created The Away Edit for people who want the beautiful hotel, the right table, and a plan that still leaves room for getting a little lost.
A little about me
I’m happiest in a hotel lobby with a good book, at a table that’s worth lingering over, or walking a new city with nowhere urgent to be.
My work is equal parts research, instinct, and knowing when the thing with fewer reviews is actually the better choice.
I care about the details that change how a trip feels: the room, the neighborhood, the transfer, the first coffee, the space between plans.
Whether you’re planning a long weekend, a milestone trip, or your once-a-year escape, I’ll help make it feel considered from the very beginning.
The point of view
A little less “must-see.” A lot more “this feels right.”
I care about the hotel you’ll still be thinking about six months later, the restaurant worth making a reservation for, and the neighborhood that makes you feel like you found something.
I care about leaving room for the long lunch, the vintage shop, the swim before breakfast, and the plan changing because you found somewhere better.
Every recommendation is edited for your taste, your timing, and the way you actually like to travel. Elevated does not have to mean stuffy.
Special does not have to mean overdone. The common thread is simple: you want to travel well.
